The "Revival Cup" Charity Football Tournament

The “Revival Cup” charity football tournament is a social and sports initiative organized by the initiative of the Karabakh Revival Fund.

The primary objective of the tournament is to attract donations in support of the restoration and reconstruction efforts in the liberated territories, while also promoting a culture of philanthropy and a healthy lifestyle within society.

The project aims to strengthen public support for the large-scale reconstruction and development works carried out in Karabakh under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Mr. Ilham Aliyev. Funds raised within the framework of the tournament are allocated to the funding of projects aimed at the restoration of Karabakh.

Teams representing government institutions, as well as local and international companies operating in Azerbaijan, participate in the “Revival Cup.” This format of participation is of particular importance in terms of strengthening public-private sector cooperation and demonstrating solidarity for the revival of Karabakh.

The first tournament, organized during the 2024–2025 season (September 2024 – February 2025), was held with the support of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA), the main sponsorship of the Veyseloglu Group of Companies, the partnership of “Azerlotereya” OJC, and the informational support of the “CBC Sport” television channel.

A total of 40 teams representing government institutions and companies that made donations to the Karabakh Revival Fund in support of restoration and reconstruction efforts in the liberated territories took part in the tournament.

A total of 141,000 AZN donated to the Karabakh Revival Fund by the tournament’s sponsors and participants was allocated to the construction of sports facilities within the territory of the Fuzuli Central Park to be established in the city of Fuzuli.

On 19 December 2025, the official opening and draw ceremony of the second season of the “Revival Cup” charity football tournament was held.

The tournament, to be organized with the support of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA), the main sponsorship of the Tamstore retail chain, and the informational support of the “CBC Sport” television channel, will channel the funds raised into the creation of sports infrastructure in the liberated territories. Accordingly, by participating in the tournament, teams will also contribute directly to the restoration of Karabakh.
