General information

On 19 December 2025, the second season of the “Revival Cup” charity football tournament, bringing together football enthusiasts across Azerbaijan, officially kicked off.

The tournament is held at the initiative and under the organisation of the Karabakh Revival Fund, with the support of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA), the title sponsorship of the “Tamstore” Supermarket Chain, and information support from the “CBC Sport” TV channel.

The main objective of the tournament is to mobilise donations to support the restoration and reconstruction efforts in the territories liberated from occupation, while also promoting a culture of giving and encouraging a healthy lifestyle within society.

Matches are being held at the “Sportster” mini-football complex located in the “Royal Park” area.

In accordance with the tournament regulations, 40 teams are competing for the championship title.

Over the four-month tournament period, the players and head coaches of the teams finishing in the top three positions will be awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals, as well as special prizes. In addition, special awards will be presented to the tournament’s best goalkeeper, top scorer, and Most Valuable Player (MVP).

The tournament regulations can be reviewed in more detail here.

Note: The funds raised through the tournament will be allocated to the creation of sports infrastructure in the territories liberated from occupation. Thus, by taking part in the tournament, teams not only compete on the pitch but also contribute to the revival of Karabakh.
